I have Google'd and Google'd and I can't seem to find anyone who has my symptom.

2007 Yukon SLT 5.3

No check engine codes / Light

EVAP seems okay. Fills fine.

Video of whats wrong.

After that, it won't attempt to start again until it is started with the key.

You can see that after the failed attempt, when trying to auto start, the lights just flash once.

Everything looks fine and in place.

Suggestions before I take it to the dealership?

Thanks in advance.

No one? I ordered a 6 button esky key fob, so when that arrives, I will program it and see if that is the issue.

Good luck. Everything I was thinking of involved car not starting at all. Assuming car never turns right off when using the key. I'm clueless.

The lack of a CEL does not mean that it is not storing a code. You would need a more advanced reader than what the parts stores use wont be able to see them though. A dealer or independent shop will be able to pull them. I've seen codes stored for air conditioning prevent them from starting, but I can't remember what will shut it down after it starts and not throw a CEL. Besides pressing the brake pedal or "timing out" after idleing for a while (15 mins iirc).

If you have any warnings that flash up on the driver's info center when you first start it up, that would be a good place to start looking.

The chevy dealer replaced the cats and that was the only code being thrown for them being inefficient and meeting the threshhold.

I guess ill pay them for diagnose and fix it when i get my next oil change. Idk what it could be. If a cel in on, the autostart wont work at all.

I thought about it and im going to hve the truck for atleast another 4-5 years until I can afford the nnnbs, so I might as well go ahead and fix it. There goes my 1st qtr bonus from work [emoji35] .

I also brakes. They want $400 front and rear. I told them I can handle that. She sounded upset. I just had my converters replaced a few months ago for $1700. I said yall need to give me a job so I can have an employee discount.
