Phew, it is done.

I'll post pics tomorrow when she's been washed. :waytogo:

Why bother posting this? Please delete this post and redo it tomorrow with actual pics. Now go in timeout. Now!

About trying to get a set ... I asked him if he wanted business from the forum and he said sure. Now that he's done a set the next ones will be a lot easier for him. However he can't do it unless he can work on the truck in person either in Richmond or in Long Island where he commutes. As described in the op, there's some frame work that needs be done and he has to adjust the lines manually whilst on the truck. So if anyone can get to him he'll do it. Btw, some might say 'of course he'll do it if he gets paid' .... believe it or not there were many times in this process where he cursed the heavens and declared 'never again!' :)

Thanks again T, I appreciate it.

So everything went well today with the install except for one thing that we couldn't figure out for the life of us and decided to do some research and remedy another day.

The hazards blink normally, but my switchback blinkers are hyper flashing after a couple of blinks. There's no reason for them to do that as they are wired properly and have the 50w resistors (the drl part of the switchback are without resistors so as to not generate heat). It's not a huge deal but I'd like to get it right ... so if anyone knows why this is happening and a solution I'd be grateful.

These are the leds and resistors I have if it helps:

V-LEDS TYPE 1 DUAL COLOR CHANGING HID WHITE AMBER SWITCHBACK 60 M-SMT TURN SIGNAL BULBS 3157 3157NA 3357 3457 4157 4057

6 OHM 50W 2 BULB LED LOAD EQUALIZER RESISTORS TURN SIGNAL BLINKER FIX
