A few weeks back I picked up a 03 Tahoe with the bose radio in it. I like the radio but wish it had satellite. Can I take a factory bose radio out of another year Tahoe or Yukon with satellite and make it work in mine, or make the one I have work. I want to stay with the factory radio, use to do the aftermarket stuff and now just prefer to stay with stock. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Kevin

From what I understand If you have any other accessory (DVD, CD changer, Tape) your radio will do SAT. That being said I don't think it's a real easy job to install it. You would need the OEM Sat tuner, wiring harness for it, and the Sat antenna. Then if I've read other threads right you'll have to take it to a dealer to have the Sat input activated on the radio. Maybe I'm totally wrong on the whole thing. I'm still learning these things myself...
