OEM Z55 Autoride Struts and Shocks

Wanted to share some info on the Z55 Autoride front struts and rear shocks. Amazon has them both for about $180 each. Stealz and Dealz Struts & Shocks Report

Hi everyone. I am a newbie here. I brought a 07' Tahoe LTZ about a year ago. Wanted to share some info on the OEM Z55 Autoride front struts and rear shocks. My front and rears are done, so being proactive I searched high and low. It took awhile but by checking the parts # and breaking the code. Amazon has them both for about $180 each. The 580-433 and 580-451 are both Ac Delco part numbers, how did you determine that they were the ones for the Z55? Obviously the price is about right for the Z55...

Was there a cross reference to these part numbers.

Nevermind, They have the OE part number 19300038 and 19300071 in the listing.

I found the same thing with an OEM climate control unit...

Sorry for the delay. Glad you found your answer. Did you ever purchase them?

Not yet... I actually am having some paint work done on it now, More or less, yesterday I had a PDR guy come out and he popped out all of my dents for $175, and now I am getting some minor rust fixed on the hatch and rear RH door.

When I get it back I will be dropping the compressor, and checking it out. I have actually rebuilt them in the past and had them work for years. IT depends on what is wrong with it. Then I will move to the shocks.

Check out Arnott, they remanufacture the OE electronic shocks, as well as give a lifetime warranty. I think the rear self leveling electonic shocks on my Denali are history, plan to order a pair from Arnott, just can't decide if I want the OE style or get their custom made Bilstein shocks with Goodyear air bladders.

I've run the Arnott self leveling struts and shocks on two different Audis and they're great.

Arnott's are great based on all reviews I've read. I got all for corner OEM's for about $720 from Amazon. Just wanted to retain the Autoride.

Were these for the 4wd or 2wd version?

I see there are different part numbers for both... I expected the fronts to be different, but the rears are different too...

I contacted GM parts direct, Here are the part numbers they gave me for my 2007 LTZ
19300036 - Front Struts (autoride)
19300040 - Rear Shocks (w/ air suspension)

I checked Amazon, I got all of them for under $800, shipped,

one thing I noticed is Amazon had the cross reference for the 19300036 as 580-431, but GM Parts direct had 580-369. The 19300040 were both 580-444

So if anyone needs some, I would contact a dealer get the OE part numbers before throwing the switch.

Just towed my 7,000 lb trailer 800 miles with the Arnott Bilsteins. Fabulous, far better than the OE shocks. Even when we hit 30 mph crosswinds which blew the trailer around, the rear of the Denali was nicely planted.

For the same $$ as buying OE replacements, the Arnott are remanufactured with better air bladders and carry a lifetime warranty.

I could use the help of someone who really knows their s*** about suspension becuase I know nothing. I do car audio competitions and best of show, I have a 2012 Tahoe LTZ with the air bags in the rear. I'm looking for what I need to do a 4/5 lower but since I don't know what I'm looking for this makes it difficult. I would appreciate if someone could help me out amd break it all down to me. I'm not looking for ride comfort as it's not a cruiser car just the look of the lower itself for aesthetic purposes.
