You're looking at someone who lives and breathes for 100+ weather. Anything below 50 is really cold, shit, anything below 70 is cold, too.

I'll check the video out when I get my phone out of the Yukon. No sound on my work computer.

I filmed that video....does it sound like that??

Nope, not it. This was a low, metallic moan, like a heavy wrought iron gate closing or a low trumpet note. However, your noise was really scary, what was it?

 @ "braving" the 40 degree weather :laughing1: If it's in the 40's I'm in short sleeves for sure and may be driving with the windows down

THANK GOD its back to 70 here today. I was wasting a lot of gas using remote start to warm up the Tahoe when it was in the 50's here earlier this week.

 I don't even use remote start til it at least gets in the lower 30's. It's been an extremely mild winter here so I've only had to use it a couple times this winter. I'm more likely to use the remote start in the summer if it's 80 or above!

I think I know what sound you are talking about actually...do this: go put your A/C on full blast at whatever temp its already closest to, 60 or 90. Then, while its on full-blast hold the temp down or up button to go to the other end, 90 or 60. See if it does it then.

Did it happen when you turned your key after a remote start?

It's in the 50s today and I'm freezing. March will be bringing much warmer weather, we were back up in the 80s last year, with a few 90s, it was heaven.

Nope, not a peep. I even had my recorder running, just in case. I'll try that and see what happens at lunch.

Just a thought but maybe they used the incorrect oil weight and and it is not getting into the upper part of the motor fast enough when it's cold (in you tropical peoples minds).
