when i had bought mine and drove it off the lot I put a tune on it down the street, unlocked the limiter and proceeded to drive it like a insane person across the desert I very well could have broke it then.

Trans dies and was rebuilt so I had them do them while they had it apart along with rear main too. All OEM.
Rock auto. It was doing it before the change so its not that.oem from where? please don't say Amazon?
cause that really seems like a sensor. I had a 3 month old Amazon "acdelco" one in it.. worried me for a bit, but a grabbed a 2nd new one from a local dealership and it's been perfect ever since.
mine actually flickered a round a little faster than yours thou.
can you change it yourself? if so, might be worth the 50$ to try a new one. that or get a mechanical gauge on it to see before tearing the engine down
That's not normal at a steady speed, sorry. Who did the pick up tube o-ring? Our oil pumps only run about 33-38 psi at speed, they pump more volume because the blocks are aluminum.
Please see the video in above link. Does anyone experience the same?
By the way, new sensor, screen, galley plug, oil pan pick up o-ring, oil pressure release valve (in pan).
I did the o ring. That's not normal at a steady speed, sorry. Who did the pick up tube o-ring? Our oil pumps only run about 33-38 psi at speed, they pump more volume because the blocks are aluminum.
So Wes, you think that's an oil pump?
I don't know, maybe he can try the "add some extra oil trick" and see if it changes anythingThat's not normal at a steady speed, sorry. Who did the pick up tube o-ring? Our oil pumps only run about 33-38 psi at speed, they pump more volume because the blocks are aluminum.

o-ring only ? or pickup tube also? I have heard of them coming looseI did the o ring.
There are two 0-rings for LS engines, I can't remember which is which but you might want to verify that you used the right one.I did the o ring.
I'll double check part numbers. Ya know, I had a bad leak before I got the new trans and they fixed rear main, I overfilled (3/4 quart or so) when I went on long trips because it was losing a ton. I don't recall it doing it then actually. Im about to change oil probably this weekend or early next week. I will add a bit extra and see. There are two 0-rings for LS engines, I can't remember which is which but you might want to verify that you used the right one.
You can safely add two more quarts and take her for a drive to see if the issue goes away. If it does, that's an o-ring problem, if not, it's something else.
