I send in a sample annually and have also sent in a sample of the transmission's fluid too. Analysis showed me that my thinking was right, that ACDelco's synthetic oil is better than plain Mobil One synthetic.

I do.
Use the search function here using the term "UOA", which stands for "used oil analysis". This search will bring up a lot of posts you may be interested in.
Also you may want to visit another forum called "Bob Is The Oil Guy".
I've been doing UOA for 11 yrs on various personal vehicles I own.

I do it on occasion. Here is my latest from black stone. The latest oil change was amsoil xl at 6k miles and the previous was rotella gas truck at 3k.

I order my kit from them. They seemed pretty good.
