no nothing else connectedI ask because you can put 12V back into your system through the 12V cigarette lighter sockets that is enough to help boost the charge on a low battery.

I am going replicate this problem again today to verify, it didn't loose power until I disconnected the ground from the 2nd battery, 1st battery was still grounded if there was accessory power coming in it would have still had power.
ahh hell I know what it was now, I have 2 power connectors on the 2nd battery, the 2nd one is connected to the side post to the alternator, derrrrrr.......

no that was just me being absent minded about a 2nd power connector, I originally thought maybe one of my battery's had a short. I put the original security module back in so the problem presumably remainsThis was the whole problem then, not the new module?
