Does anyone know if unplugging the power assist step harness throws out a code on the display?

I know when you deactivate the blind zone alert it reminds you all the time.

Is there an indicator light for it? If not, I don't think you need to worry about it.

Cause I may take them off to have stuff done to them and I want to know if doing so is going to show up on my dash.

There is an option on the DIC to temporarily deactivate them.
