Thanks Edgar ... I am so so proud of my achievement.

I didn't think I was going to need the saw or the hammer but I did.
The hedge trimmer was a life saver. :waytogo:

Yes indeedie ... barring any unforeseen fitment issues, it will be installed Monday afternoon along with the esky mirrors.

I'm just wondering if it's worth me getting 2 new esky wheel liners just in case there's an issue with the hybrid ones' connection points. It would basically mean me spending $100 for parts I may not need.

lol ... well i've been doing a lot of looking and inspecting. The esky bumper has 3 holes that the little screws from the esky liner attaches. The Hybrid has the same top screw hole (gigitty) but doesn't have one in the middle and the bottom is a plastic tab and not a screw. I think this is actually fine cause all that will be required is to drill two tiny holes in the liner so as to screw in the bumper. I think it'll be fine ... if I need a liner, it only takes a couple of days to get it in anyway.

As far as doing it myself, I've been sitting here contemplating. :)
But since I'm on my own and have never done this before I'd hate to drop it or scrape it, or fubaring the reverse sensors trying to do it myself.
It's killing me to have to wait ... so close yet so far. :banghead:

Quick Q ...

Do I need to bother to get that little square part called the access cover?

It won't be covering much on my truck anyways cause that plug that it covers happens to be on the other side of the hitch on the hybrids, so it's going to be covered by the bumper anyway. No biggie for me cause I never tow anything but a plethora of emotional luggage. There's no oem cover for that though!!! :bawl:

:)

Aaaaaaaaaaanyhoot ... do I need to bother with that bit or no?
