Soulsea the H1 only seats 4!!!! That is a No go sir. Unless I get a military 1151 model and put my wife in the Gunners turret with a M2HB 50. cal and a M240B, although with Houston Traffic that's not a bad idea.

H2 is not offroad capable at all. Its a 3/4 ton truck under there. Light trails is about all the truck is gonna be good for, only slightly better than a Tahoe since it has 35" A/T's. That 6.0 will snap cv joints like twigs with wheelspin. Go Suburban, you'll find one waaaaaaaaay cheaper and much more user friendly.

H2 is highley off-road capable even with my 6 inch lif they are far supirior . Shorter overhangs . 14 bolt in the back , bigger gears ext.... that is all stock. They are probally the best offroader that gm sells. if they still owned them

I liked my 3/4 ton 4wd Suburban. This one had factory 496 8.1 litre with 3.73's. It had lots of torque for pulling.

We looked at the 2500 Suburbans like that but 8-9 mpg on a good day babying it is what I figured it would get fuel econmy wise. Am I right?

Surprisingly we averaged 12 mpg with a mix of in town and highway driving. Straight highway driving averaged 14-15 mpg. We got better mileage with the 8.1 than friends p/u trucks or burbs with the 6.0 on the highway when we compared fuel mileage towing a trailer. The 8.1 didn't have to work as hard pulling a load.

I would get a z71, I'm sure it will still get you anywhere you need to go.
