Thanks to @iamdub, @Dantheman1540 and @pwtr02ss I am leaving the front grille area alone except for replacing the gold BowTie with a black one.

I will be getting all my front suspension/steering components by Friday this week and then be installed and aligned and tires/wheels balanced. The steering position sensor and the knock sensor and harness done at the same time. At that point I feel I will have addressed MOST of what I wanted to get to a time and mileage spot in time. The next will be my exhaust and then barring a major engine or trans failure or something like a blend door actuator or something, I hope to have many thousands of miles with nothing but oil changes and anything else as needed. I have spent a social security check or two getting to this point.

Glad to be of some assistance. Also looks much better without the bug deflector. Clean up is spot on as well.

Just curious--did you get it with the factory floor mats? They really great mats, and the fronts are cut/fitted nicely.

The only factory mats that I got were the small ones for the second row. These are Husky mats.

I like those in channel deflectors.

I love 'em as well. I get lots of compliments about them and I have other people ask me what year rig it is.

Even after the detail, I can still see about 5 spots on the body that are imperfections. 2 very very tiny door dings on the driver's door and a scratch there that is hard to see but I know it is there. The door ding depth is less than the thickness of a dime. The rest are very small scratches and actually hardly anything after 16 years of use.

And, yes, I am also happy those deflectors are gone. Hated them.

Looks awesome squeaky clean, the wheels look good on it too, most of the time you see these rigs in the road you can tell they are just beat to death, when I see one as clean as yours I just stare at it like a creep and tell whoever is with me "that man cares for his truck."
