on the left hand side at the bottom there is a section to enter your vin. I don't know at what point gmc adds it to their site but mine shows up when I enter it in

Oh ok, not sure if Chevrolet has that or not.

Yes, they do. Go to this page - https://www.chevrolet.com/suvs/suburban - click on "Inventory" just below the picture on the bottom right and then on that page, scroll down through the options on the LH side and you'll see a spot where you can type in the VIN.

My Vin showed on Chevy site for a day, but now it doesn't. Does that happen a lot?

Chevy customer service told me the vehicle was bayed. The www.palsapp.com website showed the updated info yesterday.
