Hey JK, how many hours do you think you will have into that project from start to finish?
Well if I wasn't sick, I would've had it all done in about 2-3 days - pulling the old motor, getting the new one ready, and re-install.
As of now, I think I've spent about maybe 8-10 hours between the cam/spring install, installing sensors, pinning the crank pulley, paint, and putting the engine back together. I spent about an hour removing the s/c from the old motor. My brothers pulled the motor while I was sick, which was about 5 hours. They said they had a hard time breaking the block away from the bellhousing.
So, I'd say roughly 14-16 hrs so far?
