Hey guys,

So, I have changed a bunch of parts as of recent. Stereo, mirrors, alternator just to name a few. Also did the cooling system as well, hoses water pump, pulleys, belts you name it. Ha.

I noticed after I installed the new alternator and mirrors that when I exit the truck, I am getting a slight shock! Anywhere obvious to look first so I don’t chase down imaginary grounds? Wonder if I can just put a grounding strip in somewhere – any good spots? Could it be lose battery cable, my negative seems a little weird. I will say though, since the new alternator my amps did jump a needle or two which looks nice.

Thanks guys!

Sounds like a ground problem, I agree. You might want to do the Big 3 next.

Are you wearing more clothes because of winter? More then usual? Sliding your ass more, causes more friction --not trying to be funny, just thinking out loud. Maybe?

I am wearing more layers, hmm. I will see tomorrow. Any usual suspects I should check?

The big 3 is:
Bigger engine ground wire
Bigger alternator to battery wire
Bigger Battery ground wire
There are a bunch of threads on here on how to do it, and it's apparently not too hard!
