The 5.3 is out and sold!
Snapped off 4 exhaust bolts getting the manifolds off
So ARP all around.
Headers are backordered everywhere, so those will have to wait.
I couldn't even get a new A/C Compressor......3 weeks out.
I'm still kinda feeling stupid about not doing a LT1/10L90 but this will do in the meantime.
6.0, LQ9 pistons, shaved 317 heads , cam, dual springs, new rockers....
Everything else will be stock....TB, Intake, exhaust manifolds (Blasphemy), cats, muffler.
We'll see.

I'll post when I get it running.

Nice! Who built the 6.0?
A small shop in maine called bog brook auto
I saw them on you tube. He had a good recipe and he specializes in LSX engines and does a lot of 6.0s.

This is the one I ordered. +shaved heads and ARP hardware.
The Raymond Glasper special......pulls good torque numbers to 5000, which is what I was looking for.

I can't recommend the builder as I've never used them before.
But he dynos the engines if you want for an extra $400.
tRidiot got one too....a stock 6.0.....his is cruising less some weird oil leak he had on start-up

Awesome progress that 6.0 looks fresh and clean! Sometimes I wish I had manifolds over headers so I totally get keeping them.

LOL....Not my choice.
All the header dudes are backordered on the longtubes.
I would totally prefer to have longtubes and will as soon as they get some
For + Power and MPGs
