man Ive been busy but Im hoping to get the fuel pressure readings for ya soon. Im yet to put in the o2s or get the new cats but I should have it done this week. ill keep ya posted

guys heres a update...my guy who does my muffler work has been on vacation for 2 weeks. So I decided to rerun the codes before I see him. Now Im throwing a p0420 and a p0430 code. Seems we got are selves a bad set of cats huh?

My '98 tahoe was throwing those same codes as you. I bought 4 new oxygen sensors and its still throwing those codes. I'm thinking a new catalytic converter is what I need. As far as the hard starting, mine was doing the same thing and it ended up just being the fuel pressure regulator. Its mounted on the spider injectors. If you have an extra 250 bucks you could change out the the spiders to the new style. I got mine from Amazon and they are going in this weekend. I only changed the fuel pressure regulator a couple of years ago and it ran fine after that but yours could be bad spiders.

Ok problem solved with a few hundred bucks and some new cat. convertors. Dealing with an electrical issue now so thanks to EveryOne who helped chime in with my codes and stuff. f
