I had new bowties painted to match. while they were at it I had them take off the back glass pad and the flexfuel badge. hopefully soon all badging will come off. It was also a nice weekend so i managed to get a few pics in also. check out my thread in the under construction section for more pics if you'd like.

I took my "Tahoe" off the back too...after removing the flexfuel it wasn't balanced.

I like the hose reel you got..

Your truck has me torn on wheel choices. When I picked up the 08 Suburban LTZ in diamond white I have currently, I was determined to do black wheels. With all the chrome accents on the truck, the chrome wheels sit nicer I think. So I'm at a cross roads that gets more complex the more I think about.

Yeah I would love to de-badge it, the wife wants to leave them on there for now, but she likes everything to be balanced so im sure they wont be lasting long. especially once i get the esky racks on it i think it will just look cluttered with the badges, im sure she'll see it my way after that. haha

The hose reel has been with me for a long time. haha. Emay i was determined to put black wheels on it as well but after seeing everything i think chrome is the only way to go on the LTZ WDT unless you were to paint everything WDT and de-badge with a set of either gloss black wheels or have a set powder coated/painted metallic black i think that would look sick.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, i love it. I think they make the whole package really pop.

Looks nice! The color-matched bow ties came out great.

Ditch the TAHOE lettering on the tailgate when your wife isn't looking. I'll bet she doesn't realize what's missing, but thinks that the rear looks better...
