try it out. it would be a lot of scuffing inside of those damn grooves tho to provide adequate adhesion. But never the less, go for gold pony boy.

Like Atomic said, getting those little grooves would be a PIA. You could always scuff up what you can and try putting some adhesion promoter in the grooves to help the paint stick.

I wouldn't do it, too much exposure to the elements....molded plastic is hard to paint as it is in the interior

Maybe I'll just do it to the Camaro and see then. It sits inside most of the time anyways, and its not seeing rain/harsh elements for a while.

What the hell is a wiper cowl and a Z? Is that the plastic piece that the wiper shafts go through and that fills the space between the windshield and the hood? Ive only ever heard of "cowl" as in a cowl hood.

lesson:

cowl hood is short for "cowl induction hood"

"cowl induction hood" is made so the air gets "inducted" from the "cowl" area

so, a hood with a backwardslooking rampy thing that is open by the windshield wiper trimmy thing so that air comes in from that area is a cowl induction hood.

i painted that too. the mirror,vents,bug sheild(its cracked
now)need to replace,wiper arms and the clear marker
lights around the trim no pic for that.
