I have an 08 Lade I and my stethoscope led me to believe my PCV valve is bad. It's making a ticking sound coming from that area. I'm not sure if it's a result from the catch can. I'm gonna replace the valve yet not sure if it's pressed in or just sitting on the top of the valve cover?

Should be a press-in fit into a rubber grommet, at least they are on a NBS.

You don't need to do that- it just pushes in by hand. Grab the hose that connects to it and pull, the valve should pop out.

I stand corrected. And that sucks. I just replaced mine for $2.50 and it took less than 5 minutes. What a ****** design change.
