I was thinking about getting a cam to increase performance in 2007 Tahoe 5.3L. Has anyone here done that and what am I looking at as far as cost to have it done? Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to contact a cam company and give them all the info so they can design/choose one for you. (tire size, weight, gear ratio, converter stall, etc)

Also when you do the cam get hardened 7.4" pushrods, you will have to do valve springs more than likely, depending on how much lift you go with you may have to do dual springs ( I had to do dual springs) along with new valve seals, seats, and locators.

If you need help finding parts holler at me and I will give you the websites I bought my stuff from. Cheapest I found.
