Here is a picture of my 2001 Tahoe that is the tow vehicle for my 1970 Monte Carlo that I have owned for 50 years. I have owned the Tahoe for 23 years and it has been a faithful servant all of this time. The Monte Carlo was purchased on May 5, 1974 and has a 350 V8 with a 4 barrel carb that produces 300 HP. I had the engine restored this past year to make sure it would run well. I was headed to the National Monte Carlo Show in Bowling Green, KY.View attachment 439966
I had this option in my first car...
Could you get the swivel front buckets on the Monte? Those were bada$$.My '72 Monte Carlo had an in-dash OE AM 8-Track player. No FM. Copper colored paint, black vinyl roof, leather seats, and Rally wheels. Just like the one in the pic. I had the 350 updated with a cam and headers, and true dual exhaust. Loved that car!
