I just installed this head unit as well. Its taking a while to figure out everything when it comes to the amp mode crap but so far its awesome. I did have to buy the same adapter even though all my sound is sent out through the RCAs to aftermarket amps. With all the crap being plugged in the back of the HU it was a pain to get everything to fit.

If you don't mind me asking, are you pushing all of your speakers with the amps? Are they aftermarket speakers? Do you still have all of the chimes and stuff?

I recently installed this radio in my 09 Denali and while I love the radio it sounds pretty poor to me with the Bose speakers. I want to change out all of the speakers and push them with a 6channel amp but I dont want to lose the chimes.

Thanks for your help.

I'm using the stock antenna in mine as well. You have to remove the rectangle plastic piece from the end and it will then plug right into the SVX200v1 tuner. You'll have to use zip ties or tape to keep it connected or it will pull out. There's nothing else you have to do besides that. Of course you might have a different setup. I've got an 08 hybrid tahoe and the satellite tuner is behind the glove box.

watch this youtube video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmqdwhIqauw
It's on an 03-06 Tahoe but the exact same concept. Exactly what I did.

Depending on the year vehicle, I believe there can be two wires, one for satellite radio and the other for onstar. You need to figure out which is for what and connect the satellite one to the new Sirius tuner.

There's an issue I've discovered now...I sent a message over to Axxess support and haven't heard back yet.

I have a 2008 Tahoe with Bose, nav, onstar, RSE, XM, etc. and recently installed a Pioneer 8500bhs head unit using the Axxess ADGM100 to retain all OEM functions. I have discovered that sound mainly comes through the front speakers with very slight sound coming from the passenger rear and even less volume from the driver rear. However when I push the power button on the RSE controls the rear driver speakers turn on and are much louder (strangely it seems the rear passenger volume goes down). I can continually change the rear sound on and off just by pressing the power button from the RSE controls. The overall sound in the vehicle is night and day better with the power button turned on on the RSE controls.

Also when I do have this turned on, every few minutes a strange buzzing noise comes from the rear cargo area, perhaps from where the amp is located. It almost sounds like an air compressor but it only happens when I push the power button on the RSE controls (which as explained above turns the rear speakers on much louder).

I am very certain we have all connections correct but I wanted to inquire to see if you’ve seen this occur before and what might be the problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
