Here are photos of newly installed refurbished Pioneer AVIC-8400NEX head unit. The screen is mechanized to tilt for better viewing angle and folds down to reveal a cd/dvd player, aux input and SD card slot. Unit also has built-in nav with free lifetime updates! Scored a good deal on eBay.

map updates are not lifetime, you get 1 year only as far as I know, I already had to pay to update mine. Pioneer is terrible with providing updates for anything they make.
