Lookin sharp!Just got it out of the body shop. Thanks to a paint can coming my way heading 75mph on the freeway... got a new headlight and bumper out of it though, I’m happy with that deal.
While it was there they sprayed the tails and third brake light. The wrap was complete trash. They did it a little darker than darker than the film, hopefully the fuzz won’t complain.
Also I replaced the main muffler with a dynomax 17224, I’ve still got the second one where the spare tire would go. So far I’m loving it. It is very deep with a decent noise increase. On the highway you can barely hear it unless it kicks down a gear and you’re on the gas. I’ve got video but they don’t do it justice. I’ll get our video guy to work some magic and post it up next week.
Before the welds. Yes the replacement pipe is larger than factory. For 50 bucks I’ll live with it.

Are you expecting holes? Trim hasn’t been bolted on since late 90sCan someone confirm the door molding is just taped on and smooth on the backside?

I cannot confirm this with 100% certainty, as I do not own an Escalade, but it has been mentioned on here before that the Escalades have holes behind the molding... they are not bolted on but supposedly have alignment holes with pins.
Well that’s stupid . We can’t trust people/machines to put door molding in straight. That’s crazy. Did a little more digging and I found pictures with two holes on each door used for alignment. Sucks.
