Hey Tony, I haven't decided on what type of drop kit I'm going to go with. But like Ninety5PoloZ, my 01 Yuk has about 148k miles on it. I'm picking up 24's this monday and was thinking of a 3-5 drop or a 2-3. Budget is important because I have a ton of mods I want to do. But I want to do the drop properly; a smooth ride and not so low that it looks like I'm dragging. What would you recommend? I took a look at your webpage, but I'm not really sure what I should be looking for.

HAHA I like your style.

Another question, the Belltech 5305 advertise a 4" drop....how are ou getting ~5.5 of drop?? I'm not doubting you, just wondering

for the 5305 spring it drops the 07 up about 4.5 inches same for 00-06

the tb spring drops it 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch more.

Hey Tony have you had any issues with spindles + control arms on these things? The guy at DJM sounded like I was gonna kill myself if I installed the djm uppers and lowers + my belltech 2508 spindles and proceeded to give me a 5 minute lecture on why spindles were terrible for these trucks. I know a few guys on pt and gmfs running the combo w/o issue just figured I would ask, I haven't had a single issue with my belltech spindles but heard of some other brands having issues. I'm about to bite the bullet and get rid of my keys for the arms since I have a little bit of play in the balljoints now. Thanks dude.

Thanks. I'll be in touch for the parts. Now I gotta get someone in SoCal to help with the install.

its because they never have tested it and due to 16s hitting the lower arm.

Ive been doing the spindles and a arms for a long time never had axle issues in front. I always use the belltech spindles never mcgauhys since the 2 sets i did on a truck lost so much turning radius runnding those spinldes wasnt funny.

I have no issues with the djm swaybars at all great stuff. the djm uppers are 300 and springs would add the 45. Seeing your truck has 150 k miles i would do the djm upper/lowers and djm shocks in front that would replace the bushings and balljoints and then in rear do the tb coils and I think you will be fine. If you get the cornering package I give a better rate since putting it all together.

I suspect that part of the point that Tony is getting at here, in reference to your mileage, is that your upper and lower ball joints may need to be replaced simply due to their age. I just installed 2" drop spindles and a belltech camber kit on the front of my 2004 Tahoe. It had 150k when I bought it a couple months ago, now it has 170k. It needed new upper and lower ball joints BEFORE I started installing the lowering parts. I also replaced inner and outer tie rod ends due to their boots being dry-rotted, leaking, and popping at full turning lock.

Between the upper/lower control arms and camber kit I believe that they include new ball joints and bushings - please correct me if I'm wrong Tony.
