Are you refereeing to the metal line? or the heat wrapped line? and mushy pedals in these trucks are kind of common to an extent.

image.jpg where the blue writing is that you probably can't see..... and as far as the mushy pedal i feel like i can't ease into a stop it always feels like I'm slamming on the brakes.

I see the blue writing and if I think I'm looking at the right spot thats your pitman arm as for the brakes you should be able to stop relatively easy. However they will have a mush to them. If your putting your weight into it there may be a issue

idler arm and mount actually. with one of the tranny cooler lines, tensioner and alternator above that.
do you see a problem in this picture? i was just telling my lady "i love this guy" you really know your ish, I'm new to gm vehicles (AUDI-MAN) so all your help is appreciated and you to yukonie!

let me explain the brakes, if i were to be going 25mph and i brake about half way down it would take me 15 to 20 yards to come to a complete stop.

can-t see the chassis clearly but overall i just see corrosion which looks to be environment. nothing critical at this point. the amperage was referring to the strength of the alternator concerning power output.

how quickly do you stop if you slam the brakes full?
