Police Wheels

I know theres a few threads on here already as I have been reading over them....my question is...are the cragar soft 8 the EXACT same wheel that law enforcement use on their SUVs? And do they make GM hubcaps? I can only find the Chevy/Bowtie Hubcap...


I've searched Ebay and Craigs for some police tahoe wheels with no luck

Blizzard plz let Me know what You find out I really want the LEO wheels for Mine I belive they are either a 16X8 or a 17X8 if I remember right. where our stockers are a 16X7. or Mine are atleast. Oh I am Looking for the LEO five spoke or Five star wheels in Black.

They are not identical to Cragar Soft 8s. They're similar, but definitely not identical.

The ones that I have are 17x7.5 work truck wheels that I painted black.

the police wheels are the steel rims from the newer ( i thinkg 07+ ) silverados/sierras except they're black with a different center cap.

I have the police tahoe wheels that actually came from a police tahoe. They are very hard to find, but they only come with bowtie hubcaps, the ones above are not the actual ones because the hubcaps are different, but are very similar. You could exchange the bowtie ones for ones that are the same but just have GMC on them, but I have never seen anything with GM on it. I guess you might be able to somehow take off the "C" of GMC? Let me know if you want pics, I have ones like the two posters above (just 5 spoke from 05-06) and the actual police ones.

Someone a while ago posted the part number for the correct center caps, I know the ones above are not it as those are just regular silverado caps. If I can find that post with the part number for the police style ones. i'll post it here.

Part number for the rim itself: Part # 9596468 with an MSRP of $166.26
Part number for the center cap: 9597673 List for $132.85 ( from what I found )
