2002 Yuk, came with Firestone Wilderness and they had no grip, dry or wet. Got into accident because of those on DRY pavement...got rid of them with less then 5000 miles on them. Since then, have use Michelin LTX's for about 55k - 60k miles each set, now on 3rd set. The LTX 2's now have a quieter ride then the older ones but traction for all weather conditions has always been good. Only truck tire I could find with 'A' temp rating (within my price range). Everything else I looked at had 'B' rating for temp...i thought this was important living in the desert Southwest. Had Bridgestone Dueler HL on another SUV and they had decent traction but a bit noisier. Oh, stock size 265/70/16 IIRC

On my Jeep--31x10.5x15 Cooper STT, DO NOT buy these tires have 15k miles on them and they have about 1/8" of tread left. Cooper says they have a 50k mile warranty, don't believe that. Also have a friend that put them on a 2500 Dodge and they didn't see 8k miles and they were showing cords.

My my old Tahoe--265/75/16 Cooper Discoverer ATR, loved those tires. Not very aggressive but they did their job well. And their snow traction was amazing. I put 35k miles on them and then sold them to a coworker and they were better than half tread when he took possession.

My Camaro--315/35/17 Nitto NT555 at all 4 corners, look great but I haven't driven on them yet :(

My Dakota--31x10.5x15 General Grabber AT3, so far I have about 250 miles on them and they work awesome in the snow, their quiet on the dry roads, but the sidewalls are a little soft for my liking. Dry pavement cornering feels a little "loose" but the tires are a little taller than the old ones were.

My Dad's 1500 Dodge--35x12.5x16 Nitto Terra Grapplers, great tires for the snow and work great for going in the woods for hunting and wood cutting. He has about 35k miles and they have about 1/4" of tread left. Also good tire for towing, we do quite a bit with his truck and the tires work great no matter what we are doing.

I have been rocking my hankook dynapro rtm af10's since dec of 2010 and they are going strong. I see no reason i shouldnt get 70k out of these tires. Awesome in the snow, mud, gravel, rain and dry. Fairly quiet for the tread pattern...a buddy of mine jus put the exact same size..265/75/16 on his H3 and cannot believe how good they are.

I ran Goodyear Forteras on mine since I got it (over 100k). Last fall with intentions of selling soon I opted for something less expensive, and bought Yokohama Geolanders for 1/2 the money. Well, plans changed including a 16k trip last summer, now have 30k on them and I am very impressed!

eagle gt.jpgP275/55 R20 Goodyear Eagle GT on my 2003 Yukon Denali XL. Great highway tire and awesome in the rain. I run snow tires (Blizzaks) in the winter.

I bought my truck with Kumho p-metric 4 ply tires and they sucked 28K miles and they were gone! So that is when I picked up a set of 285/75 17's 8 ply BF Goodrich KM2 so the truck cannot reach the max of the tires. They now have 20k on them and they wear like iron and are surprisingly quiet for mud tires. I can tell you that I have sold at least 5 sets for my local shop with friends who have gone in to by the same thing. Plus for an extra $20 a tire why not step up to full muds from an A/T. I did have to stick 1" keys in to make them fit. The next set will be after ebay keys and spacers and I will be buying 33" KM2's never going to own another brand of tire.
