2002 Yuk, came with Firestone Wilderness and they had no grip, dry or wet. Got into accident because of those on DRY pavement...got rid of them with less then 5000 miles on them. Since then, have use Michelin LTX's for about 55k - 60k miles each set, now on 3rd set. The LTX 2's now have a quieter ride then the older ones but traction for all weather conditions has always been good. Only truck tire I could find with 'A' temp rating (within my price range). Everything else I looked at had 'B' rating for temp...i thought this was important living in the desert Southwest. Had Bridgestone Dueler HL on another SUV and they had decent traction but a bit noisier. Oh, stock size 265/70/16 IIRC
