Hola people.

Just yesterday adopted an 07 Yuke. Doing some digging I see that this unit is equipped with GM Autoride suspension. This thing came with a stack of service records (god bless that woman) and there’s no mention of any problems or suspension maintenance other than greasing. At 186k miles what problems should I expect? I’ve driven her at this point about 3 hours, mostly highway, and she rides like a dream and corners like a freighter.

There are lots of threads here on maintaining the autoride suspension. It’s a great system, but if it also has the rear air shocks, then it’s likely that they are shot at this point. Crawl underneath and take a look at the shocks. If it has air ride then the rubber boots on the shocks will tell you their condition.

I would bet the shock bladders are wasted unless the PO replaced them.
The shock air bladders & compressor on our 07 Denali were dead 5+ yrs ago at 130k miles when we bought it. We don't tow or carry large loads, so we did not fix it ($DIY $800). Still rides like a dream with 193k miles now.
