I have a 2015 Tahoe. I have had Tahoes and Suburbans since 1975. This is the 5th Tahoe I have owned. They get better and better, more car like, smoother ride, quieter, etc. The 2015 is the best of all I have had.
I buy it for the room. This is the second one I have had with the 3rd row seats, I had a 2007 prior to this Tahoe. I have NO USE for 3rd row seats, but the 2015 seats do drop down nicely. I have the 2nd row buckets which gives a great spot for a cooler between the sets when I load it up to go shooting or hunting.
I have 43,000 miles on it, and no problems with it. Some minor issues when I first got it, but were fixed under warranty, and I don't even remember what they were. I do not have a problem with the drone or noise, the V4/V8 works fine, the 5.3 liter engine is great, good power. I have the tow package, so I have a higher numerical ratio differential. I have the 4 wheel drive, no problems. I occasionally tow a 7 X 14 enclosed trailer with a race car in it, and the power train has no problem with it.
All in all I am very pleased with my 2015 Tahoe. The only thing I would change on it would be to delete the 3rd row seats, which would give a little bit more room in the rear area. I never have more than 4 people in the car, so I don't need the seats in back.
