I have a sas on a 98 and crossover steering. I have gone through 3 reman pumps in a month. Every time they go out at high rpm with some sawing action to the steering wheel. Always the first or second time out playing. I'm looking for a good aftermarket steering pump. Any suggestions? Thanks.

are you sure the evo steering system is not contributing to the issue? Have you torn one down for a visual inspection? that would help a lot.

I deleted the evo system... And I've read plenty of reviews about agr that says their quality control sucks. Having pumps that don't have pressure, loose shafts... Etc.

How big are your tires? Maybe with a custom set up like yours you would consider a hydro assist or full hydro set up?

They are only 35's... And I wanna do full hydraulic, but funds right now say no. So I want to find something affordable that is better than stock.

also have you any idea if the gear is falling apart and dumping debris in the pump. or perhaps you need some strong cooling of the fluid. how does that fluid look upon failure?

Not going hydro boost... Full hydraulic steering. It looks grey. Not burnt black... Btw, I use clear fluid, but not really a metallic grey... Almost like, cloth grey. But doesn't smell burnt.
