well you can try gm 12345887 cold weather fluid to help but i am not sure it is cold enough where you are to use it. it might flow a little better and maybe cut down on the oxidation you are experiencing which can occur from being overworked.

I ordered a psc heavy duty pump. Should be here soon. Hopefully it'll last till I can go full hydraulic

Sunlitcomet...I replaced my steering pump and had to reposition the EVO 180 degrees. I cycled the steering lock to **** and bled the system. Go to drive the truck the next day and now no power steering. I have read that I can buy a remanufactured pump with a EVO bypass pipe, Is that recommended? I've also read of the wandering steering in wind which I also have.

And by the way your advise to replace the driveshaft yoke with a zinc coated unit was spot on. No more clunk for two years!
