Hi, I recently had installed a set of police wheels with tires off a 2014 Tahoe PPV into my 2003 Tahoe. I used the same lug nuts that were on my stock 03' Tahoe which I believe are the open end Acorn. I think the police Tahoes use closed ended lug nuts.

The open end Acorn lug nuts safe on these police wheels? or should I swap them out for the closed ended ones and if so which ones or where can I find the correct ones to order?

Thanks for your help!

The open acorn lugs are fine for the PPV wheels. I think it's just for cosmetics for using the closed lug nuts. If you really want them you could always order them from the dealer.

I had the open ended lug nuts on my steel rims. They were worn and tapered a bit along with the holes on the steel rims. I bought a set of they OEM alloy rims on Craigslist and the guy gave me all of the lugs as well. They were also short and open ended but weren't as worn. The center cap covers them up anyway.

The OP has not been here since 11/22 so all this will fall on deaf ears unfortunately.
