Hey everyone, i've been dieing to get myself into a Tahoe, and think I came across a decent pick up, wanted to see what everyone though

2008 Black/Black Tahoe, Fully Loaded minus Navigation (no big deal, i have nav on my phone), 41,000 miles, $34,999.00
Now i've seen them places online for less, here are the reasons why I find the price justified. dealership is 15 minutes from the house, they say that price is down from its original 39999.00, and I'm trading in my old car for it, and theyre giving me 8,000, where as it is really only worth about 2,000 due to some failing internal parts... So i'd love to be able to get 8,000 for it. With this 8,000 off + dealer fees and taxes i'd be walking out the door with it for $28,000

What do you think? 35,000 for a 40,000 mile fully loaded 2008 too expensive? it comes with 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.
Let me know! need to make the decision by tomorrow!

thanks all have good holidays

I would try to find one a year newer. This will give you the six speed instead of the four. Better economy, better performance and less prone to problems.

You should price it out on edmunds.com to get an accurate price. I recently purchased my 2009 LT 2WD Tahoe with 34000 miles for $30,500. You can expect to pay more for an LTZ but I think 35K is too high for an 08. Hope this helps.

If you get it, make sure to get the extended warranty before you can't. I think they're asking way too much

I got my 08 LT3, 4WD with 24,500 miles for $31,500 and they paid off my trade in +$500 which was above the Blue book. It was in great shape passenger leather looked like it had never been sat in. I would look around for better deals. I drove 3 hours for my deal but it was well worth the money saved.

In April 2010 I bought my 08 Tahoe LTZ fully loaded minus nav (put aftermarket avicz110bt nav in) w/ 3rd row seats/oem 20s/leather/captains chairs/etc with 20,000 miles for 34,990. That was 8 months ago!!! You can DEFINITELY find a better deal. And mine was from a dealership too so you need to keep on looking. Plus the bumper to bumper warranty ends at 36k.. that means that truck isn't even warrantied anymore unless you get the extended! IMHO, keep on looking. I looked for like 6 months straight :)

What's a good price on a 2008 Tahoe 40K Z71 4x4 loaded LT $31K seem fair? Depending on what state or part of the country has a lot to do with price as well.

Also do the 2008's have many problems?
