Signed the papers to trade my '12 Callaway for a '17 Denali a few weeks ago, it is now in transit by train. Should be here in two weeks hopefully there won't be to much salt on the roads then!

I ordered the iridium color with the 22" 7 spoke silver/chrome rims. The plan was to install the rims and tires on my wife's Tahoe and then install 20" black rims with 305/55/20's on the Denali. After looking a numerous pictures I'm thinking of installing 33x12.5x22 Ridge Grapplers on the stock rims. The ridge grapplers are the only aggressive/beefy tires I can find for 22" rims so far.

Anyone done this or recommend another tire close to this size?

Thanks.

Tahoe 5.3. One of the first from '12. Great truck zero problems. Looking for a little more omph with the 6.2.

Plan on building up the new Denali with a supercharger ourselves once I get it settled in.

Nice stable in your garage.

Dark Star,
Your going to need a leveling kit with that setup. Look forward to seeing yours. Iridium Metallic rules!!!
I almost went that route with the 22's, but decided to go with my 20's wrapped in 305's, since I go off-road
to pull my hunting buggy 4 miles into the ranch in South Texas.

I highly recommend the SuspensionMAXX that I have on mine. Almost 2.5" in front and 1" in the rear. No rubbing with my 305/55/20 Trail Grapplers. Going to Ridge Grapplers in 25k miles(hopefully) as well.

Looks like another week wait But more time to decide on rims, tires, level kit, exhaust ...

Two votes for black rims from my kids, see how it looks in person.

IMG_0276.JPG She's home! Feels way more solid and quiet than the Tahoe, maybe a little too quiet. Might need to look into the new exhaust soon

Only gripe so far is the lack of lighting when you open the rear hatch? It's pitch black back there, you think GMC could of come up with some type of lighting for this area.

On the plus side the intellibeam/ auto high beams is amazing! Turns on high beams when needed and switches to low super quick.

Looking forward to exploring the rest of "smart" features

I just bought a 2016 Rocky Ridge Callaway Tahoe. I'm curious, did you always take your Callaway to the dealership for service? Did you ever have any issues with it?
