I have the same but not as bad as yours and the alt is like 4 months old! I cleaned the ends of the cables to and from the battery but still the same

Look at the grounds going from each fender to the core support. I had some funky stuff going on when these were a no go.

I followed mr Sun and replaced the alt with a 2005 124amd alt it is way butter but I am still thinking that I need a volt stabilizer and a way to check if there is any extra load caused by old wires or mini short

as to be expected. the regulator lowers the voltage the hotter the under hood temps get to avoid forcing to much into a hot battery causing swelling, reduced life and such.
