Howdy! I've been checking this forum constantly racking up ideas and slowly convincing myself that it is worth it to start stacking up my '03 Yukon. The next thing on my list is some Corsa exhaust, however I ran into an issue. Unfortunately I am yet to receive a response to an e-mail I sent Corsa with the same question, after 4 days now, so I figured I would give the community a shot.

For my '03 Yukon, 2WD, 5.3L, I want a Corsa Sport cat-back system. Corsa's website brings me to part #14232, or http://www.corsaperformance.com/product_display.aspx?product=642. This specific page claims it fits a 2WD Yukon (not 4WD, not Z71). However, when I go to find prices on other websites, I am reading a slew of various years and trims. All of the ranges would fit an '03 5.3L, but a lot of the trim requirements are saying Z71 or 4WD is required. Is anyone able to confidently say that Corsa #14232 fits my truck? Or do I need to find another system? At that, if anyone has purchased this online and is willing to share the link it would be much appreciated. With such an expensive mod, I am very worried with all of the inconsistent information.

Thanks guys!

EDIT: Also, I'm trying to bumping this down into the $700 range, which seems very possible with some of the websites I'm finding. But again, I don't know if its the right part. Help here would also be much appreciated.

Finally got a response. For future reference to anyone else:

2003 GMC Yukon 4WD/Z71 - 14232

2003 GMC Yukon 2WD - 14231 - Very similar part, but discontinued. So get them while they last. Priced similarly as well.

I have the 14232 on my 2001 2WD Tahoe and it fits perfectly. No issues.

Just following up. Corsa Sport cat-back part # 14231 and AIRAID Jr. CAI installed with success. Only issue were some stripped bolts on the previous system. Everything fit perfectly, as it should, and sounds even better. Will get a video up soon.

Thanks for all the help!

So, its been 24 hours, and temptation is killing me. When we first put the system on, we were running short on time and just installed it straight pipe, no muffler. Obviously, it sounded like a monster. Exterior sound was awesome, I didn't even know it was possible. On the inside however, at high way speeds and launches, it droned so hard I still can't understand how my windows weren't flexing. We put the muffler on, and all drone was gone, but so was almost all of the exterior noise, despite it being a sport system. The "Corsa tone" is there, sort of, but only at high RPMs. It sounds more like moving air then what the comparison videos for other trucks with the same system have for sound.

Could there be an installation error causing the not so loudness? Or the fact that my cat is stock (replaced a few years ago, but still "stock")?

If neither apply, are there any home remedies to try and reach for that straight pipe exterior sound but no drone interior sound?

Thanks as always!

it "sounds" to me like its working perfectly, thats what corsa designed them for. little to no drone with performance throughout the gears, and when you hit the pedal its beastly.

loud noise gets tiresome after awhile, I love my dual Magnaflows, nice sound outside and no drone inside unless I'm pulling a hill with the RV behind me. Don't get me wrong, I like a nice sounding exhaust tone but after too many years of driving its nice to have some peace and quiet and carry on a conversation. And sometime just to listen to the engine purr.
