Question about lift and tires.

Owl, thinks for the Bilstein part numbers...ordered them last night. also picked up a nice set of used Nitto Terra Grapplers in P285/70/17.

Nice man. Now you have to wait in anticipation for your parts to arrive! Its like Christmas haha. Those are good tires too. Post pics when you get it all installed

At some point i might do a llift on my vechile but not sure. Can i get these shocks that you guys suggested now even if i dont do the lift, or these shocks will only works if i do the lift.

IIRC those are fine on stock height as well.

IIRC those are fine on stock height as well.



sorry new to this was does IIRC mean and so the bottom shocks would work with stock or a 2.5 to 3 lifted tahoe. Once again new to the whole lift thing

Today finally I had time to install the keys and shocks. And after the alignment the ride is way better then before. Deleted the running boards as well. Powder coated the LT wheels and used Cooper Tires (285/70 r17) The shocks I used are the Bilstein 24-186643 and 24-187237, keys (cranked about 2/3), 1.5” spacer and moog Z71 springs. Not the best pictures will make some new ones.

Very old thread but these look great! Thanks for all the part numbers and photos.

Can you just crank your stock torsion bars or are the replacements necessary?
