Nicely done Jason.

How do you like the little extra rumble? :)

I'm hoping to do a similar test soon. Just need to find the time.

Jason, did you cut away some of the resonator piping that goes around that "fat pin" near the exhaust clamp? I could swear on my truck, the pin goes through a hole in the pipe that would keep me from slipping the resonator off.

I like it a lot better then how quiet stock was. I still would like like to add a Magnaflow or Flowmaster muffler (any recommendations). I must thank you, for you and this thread were my inspiration. I went to the local muffler shop to have a custom cat back made, but the owner was apprehensive because he never saw or worked on a Hybrid, he wasn't sure how it would effect the vehicle.
So, Thank you to all the Hybrid owners on this forum, I have found a new home!

Green Machine,
I did not have to do any cutting to remove the resonator, loosen the 15mm nut disconnect the bushing from the driver side and twist/wiggle it free from the clamp. I did have to cut to put my exhaust tip on.
Pretty simple operation with minimal mechanical ability.

I FINALLY got around to pulling off the resonator. There is only a little bit more rumble at idle. Can hear it a little while cruising, too. No droning. Haven't tried wide open throttle yet. The wife didn't notice until I told her so that's a good thing!
