made up a hardline for the pump to hydroboost - the way i left it before i had a union fitting right at the frame rail, so it was only about 14" of tube to connect it back, shortened up the return line and threw it back together. a lot closer to the battery so shortened up the harness to it and got it all together and working, filled it up with fluid, turned on and moved wheels back and forth a few times. should be gtg.

kinda pulled a dumbass... big fuel pump i had negative connected to the studs on the firewall behind the brake booster. i left off the -12v jumper from there to the engine, so it may have had a a weak path back to the battery lol. put the jumper back in, big fuel pump still sounds a little suspect but pressure comes up. prob wont push it very far in the mean time, needs to be upgraded anyway. ordered some parts to make a dual relay harness for it - i saw manufacturers selling them but never really looked into it. i wasnt sure if it was for redundancy, they wanted both positive and negative on a relay, was kinda confused...turns out they run them in parallel so one relay doesnt have to switch the entire load and keeps the relays alive longer, so figured that was prob a good idea.

i ordered a 1-1/2 bulkhead fitting for a2w tank, im going to end up hooking up the bmw pump. that sob i know will flow plenty of water to fill the intercooler up. as far as hose goes the cheaper clear hose doesnt look like it should be used with glycol based antifreeze, so will prob just suck it up and order $400 bux worth of an line.

still need to finish off exhaust, 5" cut out and waste gate dumps. i emailed them about the cutout ordered on the 29th still not shipped - said supplier was ******* off so thats awesome not going to be finished anytime son. can drive around with the downpipe open but i need to do something with the wastegates under the hood. could rip the hood off and go *** around as it is this weekend tho

So here's my issue with the wastegates...
One side is real easy to fab into downpipe for a "recirc" style, quieter getting driverside also into dp isn't that big of a deal either just need to work around the charge pipe to the intake:

On the other hand the driverside is much easier to dump straight down, the middle. The passengerside has no room to get between the fans and exhaust into the turbo. Going out the sides, passengerside is easy, driverside has the battery in the way

sooo given these dimensions, the 14" at the base may have to ride a few inches off the bottom but i've got 4 or 5" to spare higher than the 17" needed so should be a big deal. theres room in the c-pilar to gain a few inches but i really dont want to cut into it, prob a little structural  . the "problem" is going to be the 36" overall length puts it into the rear seat belt coil thingy. i may see how this tank likes being plastic welded (im going to have to cut off the rear mounting tab anyway and can practice on it) if it was about 28" overall it would be perfect and not have to do anything to it. and the 8" deep should be good, theres about 10" behind the trim most of the way, theres a little lip at the back that the curve of the tank may clear or i could trim if needed

Is there ANY mod you haven't had to mod?

if these companies would just make one off products for me i wouldnt have to

also looking at it im thinking the dimensions may just be an overall footprint, the proportions dont seem to line up. thinking it may be total length with brackets and meth bung... so overall it may be a few inches shorter. sposed to be delivered tomorrow so i'll find out soon enough
