soo not sure if its me or belltech, but one of us dont know wtf we're doing :oops:

like i said i took my stock strut/spacer and wanted a little less than 2 more inches of lift. so i set them up to be close to 8" of lift but them ***** were way too high lol like 13" tire to fender, started like 9.5" iirc. the rears are right about 10" tire to fender. so i set them up with 1 "packer" and the jam nut at about 13" from bottom center mount to lower spring perch. and thats where the 13" fender gap came from - they sit unloaded at 14".
dropped jam nut down a bunch, and its sitting about 11.5 fender gap in the front, i should prob take out the "packer" but its a pita to get these things in and out. so im going to leave it and see what happens. alignment/steering is way the hell off now so it needs to get over to shop to get that taken care of before i can really drive it anywhere

theyll prob take a hit from a 1/2ton truck, any bigger will *** em up probably? @Dantheman1540 whats your exp running over alligators. oddly enough their heads are hard as hell , hitting them anywhere else will hurt them more

My neighbor hit one in his golf cart at night when he was riding home drunk, the cart was lifted on bro dozer wheels and tires and it ripped one spindle off. Alligator was fine until the golf cart recovery team put a .22wm round in its head.

I’ve heard low stuff hitting them will pretty much destroy the bumper and possible suspension stuff but a truck should be okay. They are tough sons of dinosaurs.

subaru - put a wheel bearing on it, all is good. was cheapish and easy, 30 min job slid it right off the axle, all bolts were easy to get to. no more humming.

yukon - coilovers are on, alignment and steering all messed up. need to quit fixing stuff on it for a while, but right now tune needs some work for idle/low speed driving. and rear end needs a new lsd - i dont really do differentials and im sick of working on it. may drop it off at buddys shop and let them do the diff.

ctsv - is at my buddys shop waiting on 0w40 ESP formula oil and oil filters that i ordered, going to drop off tomorrow morning. prob not really needed since i dont do track days or whatever with it. but it only racks up enough miles for like 2 oil changes a year so a couple bux on expensive oil is ok

f150 (friends' thats in my driveway) - got trans back from builder, threw it back in last night but didnt get much more done. got over here this morning and got everything put back together just waiting on this stupid ULV, ultra low viscosity, these new 10speeds take. Problem ended up being a sleeve inside the drum dislodged, basically blocking fluid path to the clutches. he had been chasing some junk shifts for a while now. brought it into dealer when it was still under warranty and they just flashed new program or some shit but problems continued. We did a few logs with hptuners and it was showing fluid spikes to 500psi and we just thought we had wrong channel or something set up wrong lol. he is now out of warranty (thats why we were pulling it) but he's going to try and talk with ford this week and tell them this this was ****** due to no fault of his own and that he brought it in a few times.

cmax - still the baddest vehicle in the fleet

What color is that ULV fluid out of the bottle? I had the trans service by the dealer at 38k (fluid exchange and then pan drop and filter change, topped off with more new fluid). They saved a quart of the fluid that came out and it was very dark but the base seemed almost like a different color than bright pink. Had an odd smell too. Just curious if it was really that dirty or just a different animal...

What color is that ULV fluid out of the bottle? I had the trans service by the dealer at 38k (fluid exchange and then pan drop and filter change, topped off with more new fluid). They saved a quart of the fluid that came out and it was very dark but the base seemed almost like a different color than bright pink. Had an odd smell too. Just curious if it was really that dirty or just a different animal...

that was your used fluid?
the stuff that came out of this trans was like black.
he's getting the ULV tomorrow, dunno what color it is
