if you believe the injection module to be defective then have the part replaced immediately under warranty and when you have your plenum off again inspect it for deformities or cracking. you should not be using any shims to install the unit. Although the bracket bolt bottoms out it should still be torqued and the bracket must still be free to move around with out binding of any kind.

Unfortunately I am not able to return the spider assembly. I have a bad temper (to say the least) and damaged the housing when trying to seat into the upper plenum. Now, I am paying for my error.
Since the issue has occurred, my wife and I had talked several times. We decided to look for another vehicle. She has wanted a Crown Vic for some time and we found one that she liked.
So, to make a long story short. I am parking the Hoe and have a few projects for it that I have wanted to do for some time. One will be fix the spider assembly and P&P the lower and the others are new exhaust and FINALLY lay out my 4-link. My wife is very happy, which makes me happy but, more important is having a safe vehicle for her and my two girls to travel in.
So, its a win win situation.

I appreciate everyones help. I will be updating this thread with pics as I progress. I will be taking a break though, hah. I'll be back

Hah, my boss really is a dick. He hasnt missed me. Three days out and he didnt even say hi.
I got the assembly at a pretty reputable parts distributor. Unfortunately they only have Standard assemblies.

Sorry its made by Standard, and assembly, meaning spider assembly.

Does anyone have any info on were I could get an ACDelco or Delphi online for less than $450 = Delphi and $550 ACDelco?

$220 at amazon will get you a delphi unit, bracket and body oval o-rings and fuel line o-ring(already installed in body).

HOLY SHMOLY, THAT is half as much as any other parts store for a Delphi.
