@iboughtatahoe23 I've heard good things about this guy, this will be cheapest option in tuning AFM out: https://lt1swap.com/afm_delete.htm

It does, I just tried it. It also doesn’t make that noise.Or tow/haul mode should disable it.
Awesome sauce. Get that tune or Range device ASAP!It does, I just tried it. It also doesn’t make that noise.
I'll just roll with my Range AFM since I hope to trade up in a couple years anyway. Now if I have issues prior to a trade I'd go ahead and just do the whole removal thing.@the 18th letter I hear where you are coming from. There are other options that are certainly less risky and inconvenient but for $75 this is hands down the cheapest option.
You could always source a new ECU and for $100 they will program it for your VIN and do the AFM delete tune so you'll have 2 ECU in the end.
take that back. It wasn’t doing it until I manually went up to 6th gear. It was still switching between v4 and v8 while in “M”Awesome sauce. Get that tune or Range device ASAP!
weird. It wasn’t doing it when I was manually shifting up. But when I came to a stop sign in 6th gear. It still shifted through all the gears again and when I got up to speed it was still switching between v4 and 8 and was making the noise around those speeds in v4 mode stillAwesome sauce. Get that tune or Range device ASAP!
