Rattle/grinding noise at 25-35 mph, mechanic told me AFM and lifters need to be changed.

@the 18th letter I hear where you are coming from. There are other options that are certainly less risky and inconvenient but for $75 this is hands down the cheapest option.

You could always source a new ECU and for $100 they will program it for your VIN and do the AFM delete tune so you'll have 2 ECU in the end.

Are you mechanically inclined any? I think you can get a complete AFM/DOD delete kit including lifters and a camshaft for around $800? YT has a ton of videos of guys doing a cam swap for a step by step. Only difference is you will also be removing the heads to replace the lifters.

Find someone that has HP Tuners and can disable the AFM from the tune permanently.

I'll just roll with my Range AFM since I hope to trade up in a couple years anyway. Now if I have issues prior to a trade I'd go ahead and just do the whole removal thing.

Awesome sauce. Get that tune or Range device ASAP!
weird. It wasn’t doing it when I was manually shifting up. But when I came to a stop sign in 6th gear. It still shifted through all the gears again and when I got up to speed it was still switching between v4 and 8 and was making the noise around those speeds in v4 mode still
