Rear Actuator

I had my rear A/C worked on in my 2001 Tahoe and the blend door actuator is not working properly. It goes very slow. When I turn it from cold to hot it doesn't seem to go all the way open for heat. It only get warm.

Should I replace it? Is there a proper way to calibrate these blend door actuators when they are replaced or removed so they work properly?

Yes, replace it. I know with the later trucks, the calibration is done via the Tech2 but replacing the actuator should be ok as long as you install it the same way the old one came out.

Thanks. I'll order a new one and replace it. I thought you had to calibrate the new ones once replaced for it to work properly.
