hi folks
tahoe 2008

It seems that all the dirt from the streets doesn't properly get hold by the seal and it appears inside the door (see photos). looks like there is a gap between the door and the seal. Any way to fix that? Thanks in advance

I may not be seeing the pics right but if you have slush and salt and dirt build up and open/close the door, some of that will get by a seal during the open/close process. Have you thought about replacing the entire door opening seal? Is it on both doors? has it ever been wrecked? Front door? rear door?

Well, I suppose dirt gets in when doors are closed. And after opening process I just inspect it :D I guess it is because of: 1) old seal - seal gets "shrink" in size 2) the door itselft doesn't close too tight - it may be fixed by adjusting the so called striker.
It seems that I am the only one who rides through fire and storm dirt and salt and take care about cleanliness of doors ))

No wreckage (guessing, just bought it), only both rear doors

You're not alone, caring about cleanliness, but you may need to replace the outer door seals to cure the problem. If the door alignment isn't right, fix that too.

A new seal would probably help a but that's one of the down sides to how GM overlaps their rear door like that.
