Someone rear ended my wife's yukon. Lucklily it was a very low speed accident and no one was hurt. The rear bumber has minor scratches that I don't want to go through the trouble to fix.

However, one of the parking assist sensors has stopped working and with the driving skill and attention span my wife possesses I would like to it that fixed.

Anyone know how much it would cost?

That is exactly what I was looking for. Serge you are a wealth of knowledge.

And thanks for the tip about trying the sensor connection.

Just wanted to thanks Serge for his answer. Purchased the sensor off of eBay and installed it in 10min.

Park Assist works again. Now I just have to find someone to paint the black sensor to match the bumper.

You're very welcome.

But I thought the sensor didn't need to be painted ... doesn't it have a little color matched surround molding that's already in your bumper?

No The sensor itself has a black tip while the other sensors have been painted to match the bumper.

The outside portion you are referring to does not actually detach from the bumper it is the "cradle" that hold the sensor.
