Anyone have one of the hinges come unglued from the glass on the rear hatch? Passenger side hinge on mine came unglued making it very difficult to close the glass. I had to remove the lift cylinder on that side to get the window to close without being pushed way up. The lift cylinders were replaced about a month ago and they are very strong so I'm wondering if that had something to do with it. I ordered some 3M urethane adhesive so hopefully that'll work. Otherwise I'll just pick up a new glass at the junkyard.

Yup, the exact same side is like that on my 2001. It happened about 5-6 years ago. I haven't fixed it, just removed the lift cylinder on that side so it will stay closed/sealed. Don't really use the window opening at all.

I got the 3M adhesive yesterday but I think I'll go the junkyard route instead. Nothing like a good excuse to head to the junkyard! Thanks for the advice!

I've been months waiting for one of these to show up in a yard.

Could one of you with a 2006 Yukon or Tahoe total it for me? ;) okay, just kidding, but this rear glass seems rare in my neck of the woods. Shipping from the US is not an option right now, visiting a yard in WA is definitely not an option right now either.
