Rear Hatch/Tail Gate Replacement 2011 Tahoe

I need to replace my rear hatch due to damage, its a 2011 Base Model. I found a used hatch but it doesn't have the rear camera on it (as mine does). Is it a fairly simple swap to remove my camera or the complete wire harness w/camera from my Tahoe and move it to the new hatch (DIY Project) ?

The wires for the camera may or may not be there in the ‘new’ hatch but there will be a connection point on the truck where the wires leave the hatch all you need to do is unplug yours and plug ‘new’ harness in. Look at the harness on the hatch and compare all connections in your hatch to new hatch... you way not have to swap anything it may be all plug and play.
